How to upgrade

Sitemagic CMS will automatically let you know when a new version is available. It checks for updates every time you log in. If you don't log in often, we recommend you like our Facebook page to receive information about updates.

When Sitemagic CMS has a new version available, it will let you open the Web Installer. Use this to first download a backup of your website (really, don't upgrade before a backup has been created!), and then click the Upgrade button to perform the actual upgrade.

The tool will ask you for your password which is the one you use to log in to Sitemagic CMS. You don't need the username in this case.
