How to style backend

The backend of Sitemagic CMS runs within the same design used by the website. This has the obvious advantage that changes to pages and the menu structure is immediately reflected in the design your users see. However, it also has the disadvantage that some changes to the design may make the backend harder to use, such as a huge font size.

Therefore we made it possible to change the appearance of the backend.

First make sure you are logged in, and then go to Content > Design. Now select the Extension page section from the drop down menu highlighted in the image below. You will notice that by default all - or most - of the options are empty. That's because these are only used to override the styles defined in the Page section.
